There are so many benefits & over 1000 uses for coconut oil!

Personal story with coconut oil:
About 5 years ago, I remember I went to a high-end department store where I purchased the “top of the line” skincare set, and I was incredibly excited after spending $350 on the entire set. I imagined smooth, golden, beautiful clear, youthful and supple skin. Basically perfectly healthy skin.

I was so disappointed because upon trying the set at home (No they don’t provide samples because the product was so expensive) I had such a bad reaction to it my entire face burned, (and the lady at the counter said it’s anti-aging so it tingles a bit, to expect that). Thinking my skin was more sensitive than most, I expected mine to burn more so I just sat there, thinking it will go away.

An hour later, after using my computer, replying to emails and the such, the tingle finally went away and I wanted to see if there was any immediate effects of it. I was entirely horrified because my whole face was red, it had tiny dots all over and my face felt so ‘raw’ and sore!

Immediately washed it off with water and I felt my face burn as I was washing off the product. I was so horrified that I’m trying such a risk with my own skin. I heard mixed reviews with this product either it was the best thing for someone or the worst. I was banking on being one of the most prestigious lines out there, it would work.

I quickly took out my oatmeal, African black honey and remembered about Coconut oils anti-inflammatory properties! Made a paste with the 3 ingredients and applied it to my skin. It felt so soothing and such a relief as a face mask. Later I removed it and I just applied coconut oil on and it was relieving the burn on my skin and it had a pleasant smell to it too. In 1 day I already saw the effects of the coconut oil I put ontop of my daily moisturizer and I could see how fast my skin was healing.

Ever since then, I knew coconut oil definitely helps with inflammation and when I read more on it, I was shocked to know there are so many uses to it!

That’s what it sounds like to me, it’s also clelad cradle cap because babies get it a lot on their scalp. If it is seborrheic it’s caused by a fungus that naturally lives on the skin but increases in number for one reason or another. My dermo thought I had it because I had on my eye lids and my eyebrows.I also prefer using natural but unfortunately it doesn’t always work ohh I’ve heard that cider vinegar helps but never tried it
